Quick Start Guide
Get up and running with Conpanion in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to start managing your construction projects.
Step 1: Create Your Account and Log In
- Visit app.getconpanion.com
- Click "Sign Up"
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Verify your email address
- Log in with your email address and password
Step 2: Set Up Your Organization
- Upon account creation, you will already have a default organization.
- Navigate to Organization Settings: Tap on the organization item in the top bar, then tap on "Organization Settings"
- Create Organization: In General Settings, enter your company name and details
- Add Organization Logo: In PDF Watermark, upload your company logo for branding. Try to keep the resolution of it to a lower one
Step 3: Set Up Your First Project
- Upon account creation, a default project will already have been created.
- Navigate to Project Settings: Tap on the project item in the top bar, then tap on "Project Settings"
- Enter project details:
- Project Name: e.g., "Downtown Office Building"
- Project Description: Brief description of the project
- Click "Save changes"
Step 4: Invite Your Organization Members
- Go to Organizations top drawer → Manage Members
- Click "Invite Member"
- Enter team member's email address
- Select their role:
- Admin: Full access to all features
- Member: Can create and manage content
- Guest: Read-only access to assigned items
- Click "Send Invitation"
Step 5: Add Your Project Members
- Go to Projects top drawer → Manage Members
- Click "Invite Member"
- Select an organization member you would like to join the project
- Select their role:
- Admin: Full access to all features
- Member: Can create and manage content
- Guest: Read-only access to assigned items
- Click "Send Invitation"
Step 6: Create Your First Task
- Navigate to the Tasks section
- Click "Add Task"
- Fill in task details:
- Title: "Foundation Inspection"
- Description: "Complete foundation inspection checklist"
- Priority: Medium
- Due date: "September 3rd, 2025"
- Assignee: Select a project member
- Labels: Choose or add a label for classification purposes
- Attachments: Upload relevant attachments to tasks (e.g. specifications, drawings)
- Click "Create Task"
Step 7: Set Up Your First Form
- Go to Forms section
- Click "New Form"
- Fill in Form name
- Add questions:
- Text questions
- Multiple choice questions
- Checkboxes
- Photo upload
- Click "Create Form"
